Beautiful South Winners Celebrate in National Tourism Awards
Last night saw the culmination of the awards season where seven businesses from across the South East, who started their awards journey by entering the Beautiful South Awards, were presented with trophies by Alex Polizzi, at a glittering national VisitEngland Awards ceremony in Liverpool. They have been crowned one of the top three tourism businesses in England!
The Bosham Boathouse Bed and Breakfast and The Gallivant both won a Gold for Bed and Breakfast of the Year and Small Hotel of the Year respectively. Massive congratulations to them. These wins came alongside a fantastic Silver for Glamping, Camping and Holiday Park of the Year award for Kits Coty Glamping and a Silver award for Brett Hawkes, from Crowhurst Park, for Unsung Hero. Kent Wildlife Trust also won a Silver for their commitment to sustainability and they told us that “We are overjoyed that Kent Wildlife Trust has won the silver award in the Ethical, Responsible and Sustainable Tourism category at the Visit England Awards. This national recognition is real testament to our amazing staff and volunteers along with our supportive members across the county.” Boys Hall won an amazing bronze award for their New Tourism Business of the Year as did the Battle of Britain Memorial for Small Attraction of the Year (read what the award meant to them here).
Well done to them all.
