The Beautiful South Awards ceremony, at the Grand Hotel Brighton on 25th April, was hailed a resounding success as it returned to live celebrations. Andrew Mosley, from headline sponsor the Grand, hosted the prestigious ceremony recognising the cream of the South East’s tourism industry. More than 200 tourism and hospitality businesses enjoyed an evening of celebration with 21 collecting gold awards, 22 Silver, 10 Bronze and a further 13 recognised with Commended status.
The biggest winner of the night was The Galivant, Camber, scooping a gold for Small Serviced Accommodation Provider, Taste of the South East, Wedding, and Business Events Venue of the Year. This was followed by Stubcroft Farm Campsite taking a gold for both Accessible and Inclusive Tourism and Campsite of the Year.
New this year was the Future of Hospitality Award, sponsored by NFU Mutual, New Forest, Isle of Wight, and Bournemouth. Proud winners Cove UK took to the stage to be awarded for their investment and nurturing work in developing future skills in the industry.
Tourism South East, the regional Destination Management Organisation, were pleased to once again hold the awards recognising the huge achievements made under the continued challenges of the tourism sector. Organisers Service for Tourism, The Grand Brighton, along with representatives from sponsors Visit Brighton, NFU Mutual, Tourist Network, Beyonk, Quality in Tourism, Sunflower Social Media, Pear Marketing. ADA Cosmetics, LovetoVisit, University of Southampton, Anytime Booking, Hoseseasons and Hotel Perfect all joined together to recognise excellence and the incredible lengths South East tourism businesses have gone to.

I was blown away by the quality, positivity, and innovation of the tourism businesses we have across the South East.
